Biometric Devices: Advantages and Disadvantages

Biometric devices are devices that uses ones fingerprint, retinal scan, or voice to unlock something such as a computer or a door.

Advantages
1) Securtity
2) Availability
3) No passwords to remember
4) Convienice
5) Only one set of biometrics will work with that device

Disadvantages
1)Injuries can lead to false biometrics
2) Fingerprints can be lifted off of biometrics
3) People may be harmed to take ones biometrics
4) Biometric devices are expensive
5) Biometric devices can be hacked
